Account and privacy
Delete your FishSnap account
FishSnap is operated by Ruben dos Reis under the developer name Itervanta. You can request account deletion without installing the app.
1. Verify the account
Choose the Google account linked to FishSnap. Google supplies an identity proof; it is held temporarily in this page and sent to FishSnap only when you confirm removal. The page does not save the proof in browser storage. Google's privacy terms apply to verification.
2. Confirm removal
Removal ends all current FishSnap sessions for your chosen account and removes its active session and rate-limit records. A pseudonymous security marker remains for up to two hours and one minute. The web verification receipt is a hash retained until the Google proof expires, at most two hours; a native-app receipt instead lasts until its original session expiry, at most 30 days. The hourly cleanup may add up to one hour. Hosting logs, support messages and backups have separate retention.
It does not delete your Google account, cancel a Google Play subscription or erase aquarium records and photos stored on your phone. Manage subscriptions in Google Play. To erase local aquarium data, use Data and privacy → Remove everything, clear app storage or uninstall FishSnap. Copies saved elsewhere remain where you saved them.
Verify your Google account before confirming removal.
Purchases are currently disabled. Accounts with recorded purchase ownership require a separate retention review and cannot yet be removed automatically.
Read the app privacy policy for data handling and retention.
